Brightwell Aquatics Kalk+2 is a premium kalkwasser (limewater) powder made from calcium, strontium and magnesium hydroxides. Dripped in with your top-off water, it replaces the calcium your corals, clams and coralline algae use to build their skeletons, gives a temporary alkalinity boost and helps hold pH up – all without adding chloride to your tank.

How to use
- Dissolve 6 g (about 1 level teaspoon) per 1 US gal (3.8 L) of RO/DI water – roughly 1.6 g per litre.
- Let it settle for at least 1 hour, then use only the clear liquid; discard the sediment.
- Drip slowly into the sump or via your auto top-off (ATO) so that pH rises no more than 0.1 per hour and never goes above 8.5.
- Test calcium, alkalinity and pH regularly and adjust the drip rate.
Safety
- Caustic powder – avoid breathing dust and contact with eyes and skin. If contact occurs, flush with water for 15 minutes.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
